Though U.S.A, CANADA, and U.K. remain the top destination for Indian Students for higher education abroad. Australia too is emerging as an attractive alternative, which is cheaper one with comparable standards of education. There are 39 universities offering bachelors, masters, doctorate degrees and postgraduate certificates and diplomas out of which 37 are funded by the Australian government and 2 are private. All courses awarded to international students have a CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of International Courses for Overseas Students) code as a signature of government accreditation.

As New Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere the academic year extends from late February or early March to November. The summer vacation is from Mid - November to Mid - Feb. 

Admission requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of formal education after 12th Grade.

The Admission processes range from 4 to 7 month before the start of intake dates as each university has their own deadline.
